"Way Harsh, Ziyal" Update Schedule
Jul. 31st, 2023 09:33 pmI've decided to post the tentative update schedule for my fic "Way Harsh, Ziyal," the Garashir riff on Emma/Clueless that I'm doing for the WIP Big Bang. I'm doing this in the interest of making it clear that while the updates are going up pretty fast right now, they're going to slow down considerably come September, when my school year starts (I'm a university professor as my day job). Here's where you can follow along, and I'll cross off each chapter and its date as I post them!
July 26th: Chapter 1
July 29th: Chapter 2
July 31st: Chapter 3
August 4th: Chapter 4
August 7th: Chapter 5
August 17th: Chapter 6
September 4th: Chapter 7
September 19th: Chapter 8
September 23rd: Chapter 9
October 22nd: Chapter 10
October 29th: Chapter 11-12
November 5th: Chapter 13-14
November 12th: Chapter 15-16
November 12th is the official "posting date" that I was given by the WIP Big Bang organizers, and so I'll also be making a post here and on Tumblr promo-ing the fic on that date.
Happy reading! If it seems a bit slow and discussion-heavy right now, know that it's going to pick up very soon.
Update 8/16: I have a new posting date thanks to how hard pre-semester preparations were kicking my ass, so the schedule has been changed to accommodate this!
Update 8/27: Sorry for the delays on chapter 7! The new semester has been kicking my ass, and I've had to prioritize those professional duties, but I've set a new date when I can make it happen and hey, you won't have to wait long between it and chapter 8 (which is good, a lot is happening in chapter 8)!
Update 10/21: New posting date! I'm hoping to get chapter 10 up today or tomorrow; after that, I'll be posting two chapters each week!
UPDATE 2024: Did this schedule completely fall apart because I got too bogged down in real-world work, including professional writing? Yes, it did. But did I manage to finish the fic before the end of 2023? Literally minutes before midnight, but yes! Click that link above to read the COMPLETED FIC WHOOOO!
